The town of Uxbridge is a rural locale that is able to give you the best experience in that you may live in a more rural community, but you will be such a short distance from the urban centers of the region that you'll feel like you're practically next door. Uxbridge is a "hub" of sorts for the region, as multiple roadways meet in the middle of this town, and to take them from any of the Uxbridge condos for sale to their end would see you being able to visit multiple other towns, as well as the big cities. There are also plenty of amenities in Uxbridge itself, covering all of the necessities a good deal of the extras, as well as plenty of recreational activities that are sure to give you plenty of enjoyment throughout the daytime. Thanks to the accessibility the roadways provide, there's nothing in the town of Uxbridge you won't be able to get your hands on, be it amenity or recreational activity. It's not enough to say that Uxbridge is "just another town", for in fact, Uxbridge is more than that. It can be YOUR town if you invest in any one of the Uxbridge condos for sale. In the center of Uxbridge, at the intersection of Brock Street and Main Street, you can find the majority of the town's amenities, such as a handful of restaurants/fast food places, a public library, a post office, a grocery store, a couple of coffee shops, a bank, a pharmacy, and a handful of other stores that are sure to be of benefit to you. You also have a handful of parks scattered throughout Uxbridge, with prime examples of them including Centennial Park, Veterans Memorial Park, Bonner Fields, Herrema Soccer Fields, Quaker Common, and Hodgson Parkette, as well as Testa Park. What makes Veterans Memorial Park unique is that it sits alongside a small body of water off of Main Street (which has a bridge going over part of it); this helps to create a truly unique visual setting for comfort and relaxation in Uxbridge. You also have a couple of golf courses (if you like golf), with them being Wooden Sticks and Foxbridge Golf Course.
Uxbridge is also home to a major attraction known as the York-Durham Heritage Railway, which allows anyone who partakes to actually get familiar with some of the oldest trains and how they run, but also to be able to actually ride on them and experience just what it'd be like to have ridden on trains back in the olden days. The beauty of it all is that you get to watch the beautiful scenery pass you by at an acceptable speed, adding to the value of the trip. Beyond this railway however, anyone who lives in any of the Uxbridge condos for sale will have the ability to be able to visit the attractions of the big cities as well by clever use of Brock Street (which becomes the Highway 47 when heading east), and at its eastern end, the Highway 12 heading south to the Highway 7 or 407 (the 407 is a toll highway). The Highway 7 and 407 both can take you all the way into the city of Toronto with remarkable ease, so that you may experience all of the urban amenities and recreational activities of Ontario's capital city, before coming back to quiet Uxbridge to relax at day's end.
